Cannen

Most career products end the day you get the job. That is where Cannen's second track starts.

One map that starts where you are and keeps going long after you get the job. Breaking in, getting trusted, then leading.

Free to start, no card. The CV Scorecard is unlimited on the free tier.

One map, not three products

A short placement quiz puts you on a track and a stage. From there you get the five things worth doing this week, for where you actually are. Accept your first offer and the map moves you onto the Junior track. Get promoted and it moves you again. Nothing restarts, and nothing you have already done is thrown away.

  1. SwitcherS1 to S9

    Breaking into UK tech

  2. JuniorJ1 to J5

Becoming the one they rely on

  3. LeaderL1 to L5

    Senior, staff and management

What you actually get

The Decoder

"We'll be in touch." Paste in what an employer sent you, or describe the silence, and get back what it means, what it does not mean, and what to do now, with a reply you can send or an explicit do not reply. Fifteen patterns, written by someone who has sent these emails from the other side of the table.

Member and above.

The Climb

Markers, not a feed. Offers, pay rises, first interviews, and the months that were just hard, each stamped with the stage the person was standing on when it happened. No streaks, no leaderboards. Every marker renders to a card worth sharing.

See the public face

The CV Scorecard

Your CV graded against the three-part scorecard used on real hiring panels. Every unevidenced skill, filler phrase and outcome-free bullet flagged, with the exact line and how to fix it.

Free, unlimited, instant.

Weekly sprints
Five tasks a week for the stage you are on. Reading you have done stays done; the practice repeats.
The library
Sixteen resources, filtered to your track. Nine from published playbooks, the rest written for Cannen.
The CV Rewriter
The Scorecard tells you what is wrong. This rewrites it against the same standard. Member and above.
Accountability pods
A private group of up to eight, deliberately mixed across tracks, and the only one that notices when you go quiet. Pro.

Who is behind it

Ameer Naraynen, a working CTO. Fourteen years across HealthTech, FinTech and consultancy, and over a decade sitting on the hiring panels that decide these outcomes.

Every resource, every sprint and all fifteen Decoder patterns are written by him from that seat. Not assembled from blog posts, and not generated. Most of this category is either a coach who has not done the job or a senior engineer at one company. Cannen is neither.

Find out which stage you are on

The quiz puts you on the map, and the map tells you what to do this week. You can see the whole thing before you pay for any of it.
